For the past few months, RMS Cranes has provided crane support for the Amazon Rio Center project, a 1 million square foot warehouse for Amazon. RMS Cranes utilized a Manitowoc M250 crawler to set hundreds of the panels. The final (4) panels, on precast jobs such as this one, are the closure panels. These (4) panels weighed 160,900 lbs each, which required RMS to provided a larger crane for completion of this portion of the project. RMS Cranes mobilized their new Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 machine which is a 600 Ton Hydraulic All-Terrain crane. On Sunday, October 8th, 2017 RMS Cranes mobilized downtown to Union Station in Denver, CO. We were contracted to provide crane & rigging services for the installation of a 40,000 pound pedestrian bridge. The bridge was designed to provide access on the third story of the two buildings. This project's tight job-site location required close attention to detail within the planning stages all the way up to completion of the project. We utilized one of our brand new Liebherr LTM 1130 5.1, hydraulic all-terrain machines, wrapped in CU graphics!
On August 24th, 2017, RMS Cranes was contracted to lift & set (4) 10,000 lb underground fuel tanks at a new development job-site in Thornton, CO. We utilized one of our Link-Belt HTC86110 machines, a 110 ton capacity crane that allowed us to set up in one location and reach all the lifts while maintaining all safe operation procedures and standards. We recently added (2) of these brand new machines to our growing fleet, to better serve the Denver area as it continues to thrive.
On August 25th, 2017, we captured drone footage of one of our Heavy Haul crews, mid route at the Laramie, WY port of entry.
In April 2017, RMS Cranes received an 11,900 lb Chiller by truck. The Chiller was scheduled to be lifted into a building in downtown Denver a month later. We offloaded the Chiller at RMS Rigging's warehouse where crews moved the component into storage, by utilizing a forklift, skates, and jacks. The Chiller was then stored in a safe and secure location until the client was ready to lift and set into the building. Subscribe to our YouTube Channel to stay updated with recent project videos!
